EXHIBITION "POINT AND GO ON. LIFE CAN MORE"

“Period and we continue. Life can more ”is a traveling exhibition of photographs set up as an awareness-raising project carried out with survivors of trafficking.
Trafficking in human beings is an invisible phenomenon for the public. Fighting her is not easy since her
detection and identification is complex. This is why this photographic project aims to make visible and raise awareness about the situation of abuse and exploitation of people.

It is necessary to know in order to look and show, that is why this project has required an approach to people and institutions involved in actions against trafficking and in social care projects for victims. This approach has allowed us to jointly build a story in images, making the victims participants and protagonists through the images and their own words embodied in the phrases that accompany each photograph.

To make possible the taking of the photos, the participation of people who have
survived human trafficking, as well as projects for the care and accompaniment of
entities that have been working in this area for years: Adorers, Oblatas and Villa Teresita.
The phrases that appear next to the photos have also been collected from the testimonies of the
victims. The names that appear next to the phrases are fictitious to preserve the identity of
people.

The author of the photos is Fernando Mármol Hueso, who has dedicated his time, effort and
qualities both for the realization of the photos and their subsequent assembly.
